Background
Franchise industry has been growing consistently and witnessing a phenomenal
growth since the last seven years. This growth has led to the transformation of
the industry across the globe especially Indonesia. As a result, new markets for
franchise, license and business opportunities emerge fast, and awareness of
franchising becomes more pervasive, as evidenced by the increasing numbers of
franchise brands.
The response of Franchise and License Expo Indonesia has been most promising
since last years Franchise and License Expo Indonesia 2010 was successfully
ended with over than thirteen thousand respected and potential investors
participated. This successful assembly has brought together large number of big
regional and national companies, an ever-growing part of the franchise market.
The success achieved by Franchise and License Expo Indonesia 2010 could be seen
from the response of the visitors, in which it surpassed our highest record in
the number of visitors, where there is an increase of 30% from the previous
events. This success could not be separated from the support of Ministry of
Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Department of Trade, Indonesia
Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and also WALI Indonesia Franchising and
Licensing Society. It was also sponsored by Islamic banking by Bank Indonesia
and also Islamic basis banking, such as Mandiri Syariah, BTN Syariah, CIMB Niaga
Syariah, BNI Syariah, and BRI Syariah.
Now, for the ninth consecutive year, Franchise and License Expo Indonesia 2011
will present the more comprehensive programs aimed to raise the amount of
investors, and also maximize the convenience and the profit of the exhibitors.
Franchise and License Expo Indonesia 2011 will take place from 14 16 October
2011 at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center. It will showcase to
promote the awareness of franchising and licensing industries in Indonesia as
well as to create unique opportunities for franchise holders and business owners
to meet more than 15,000 prospects entrepreneurs from throughout Indonesia and
Southeast Asia.
